She watched her mother acquire commercial property in China, and she grew up hearing stories about her great-grandmother, a woman who built and held onto an entire block of commercial real estate through one of the most turbulent periods in Chinese history.

For five years, she directly oversaw her restaurant, Café Luna, where she honed her ability to read people, manage risk, make intelligent decisions with imperfect information, and deliver exceptional experiences under pressure.

In addition, she spent fifteen years cultivating her own real estate investment portfolio, studying the market and learning to evaluate properties, analyze returns, identify hidden upside, and spot the deals worth pursuing.
