The thought of becoming an agent had never crossed my mind. Then one day I realized something that made me sad: so many people experience the homebuying process as something invariably stressful – just another one of life’s practical realities that is full of paperwork and cold calculations. They’ve lost touch with the most important consideration: themselves. And when someone is able to rediscover that a home purchase actually represents a chance for them to see their own ideals, values, dreams, and personality reflected in their surroundings, the entire process becomes a joy-filled one. That’s the best part of my job.
My approach is creative, fresh-eyed, and solution-focused. No problem is too big to solve, whether structural, aesthetic, or contractual. Clients are frequently surprised to find I have plans formulated 10 steps in advance, just in case, so we’re prepared to come out ahead in every potential circumstance. A win for my client is a win for me, and I celebrate every victory as if it were my own. Many of the buyers and sellers I’ve represented are now dear friends who know they can count on me for advice about remodel projects, interior design, and random things like where to purchase a redwood tree (ask me to tell you that story!).
