"Pete is the gold standard. My wife and I had long desired to move to a particular neighborhood in Monterey (that has few listings and little activity). With Pete's help, we found an ideal house in that neighborhood. That was the easy part. To buy the new house, we had to sell our existing house. Notwithstanding, Pete was able to work with the seller (of our new house) to convince them to accept a contingent offer and then to structure a purchase with terms acceptable to both my wife and I and the seller. For example, we have young children and were concerned that we could lose the contract on the new house after entering into a contract to sell the existing house. Pete was masterful. He listened to our concerns, took feedback from the seller, and negotiated a contract agreeable to the seller and that protected us. Pete then helped marshal the due diligence for our purchase of the new house and negotiated for our benefit certain needed repairs. Pete also represented us in the sale of our existing house. Again, he was magnificent. He was aggressive in marketing the property, was a strong advocate for my wife and me in negotiating the sale price and repair concessions. And, most important, he was "on it". Given the need to sell our existing house to buy the new house, Pete was vocal and active in pressing our buyer to close, on time, and on the negotiated terms so that we could close the new acquisition. To boot, the closing for our existing and new houses was scheduled between Christmas and January 1st. The timing and vacation schedules did not slow Pete down. He delivered. Our existing house sold on time and our new house closed without issue. Throughout the process, Pete was responsive, thoughtful, accountable and a strong advocate. He made happen what my wife and I thought would be impractical to accomplish. He is that good. I highly recommend Pete, whether it be for buying or selling a property."
