You know you’re in the right profession when you’re happy to do your job even on vacation. That’s how I feel about real estate. If a client called me, I would answer from anywhere in the world. To me, it's not an obligation. I genuinely enjoy the energy of this work.
My commitment to every buyer and seller I serve is simple. I keep my promises. Here is what you can expect from me:
1) I will always look for new ways to go above and beyond for you.
2) I will stay in consistent communication so you always know what is happening behind the scenes.
3) I will work quickly and carefully to get the answers you need and keep the ball rolling. You will never wonder whether momentum has stalled.
4) I will treat you with kindness and respect. This one almost goes without saying, but I’d like to say it anyway.
5) I will always keep learning. The real estate industry moves and shifts too quickly for agents to tell themselves they know everything. Forty years from now, I will still consider myself a student of this profession, and that is a good thing for you.
I came into this industry because I love helping people move forward in their lives. Years ago, while living in Las Vegas, I tried connecting a friend with a local agent. That agent eventually told me he would bring me onto his team if I got my license. I studied, passed my exam, and discovered how much I loved this work. I had spent years in a job that did not fulfill me. Real estate felt energizing. It gave me independence and the satisfaction of creating real value for the people I served.
My first sale will always be meaningful to me. I helped my client find a home within twenty-four hours, wrote her offer, and got it accepted. When I handed her the keys, I brought her custom cookies from a local baker. After closing, I sent monthly updates so she always knew how her equity was growing. I wanted her to feel cared for long after the paperwork was signed.
I also spent time working in property management, signing up new homeowners, running marketing, showing homes, and communicating closely with both owners and renters. I became known for my follow-up. People trusted that I would respond, take initiative, and move things forward without being asked twice.
Having spent years in Las Vegas, my heart eventually pulled me back to the Monterey Peninsula, where I grew up. Today I feel grateful every day to work in the community that shaped me.
When I am not strategizing for a client, I am usually with my daughter, exploring the local spots we both love. Sometimes we browse the shops at Del Monte Shopping Center or go to the movies. Sometimes we walk along the beach or grab clam chowder at The Grotto. My favorite almond croissants are at Parker-Lusseau. And my favorite sizzling rice soup is at Lee’s Garden in Marina, a place I have loved since childhood.
If you want an agent who combines strong communication with genuine care, I would love to help you. Give me a call when you are ready. There is nothing we cannot accomplish together.
