Let me tell you what real estate is to me, because it isn't what you might expect.
It's about the money.
Okay, maybe that’s exactly what you expect. But it isn't about my money. It's about creating wealth-building opportunities for others, honoring relationships, and being in a position to give back to the people who do the most for their communities here on the Monterey Peninsula. When you work with me, you're not a “transaction” and you're most definitely not a commission. You're someone I'm supporting for the long run.
I didn't take a straight path here, and I think that's exactly what makes me good at this. Growing up in Carmel, I never knew exactly what I wanted for a career, but I was always chasing challenges — staying active, pushing my limits, and seeing how far I could go.
Case in point: halfway through college, I decided to step away and allow my passion for mountain biking to take me across California, Colorado, and up into Canada. More than a decade on the trails taught me something I now use every day in real estate: your day comes down to you — your preparation, your focus, and the small details you choose not to overlook. I've had my best days out there. I’ve also faced crashes, broken bones, and surgeries. I don't rattle easily anymore. So, when a negotiation gets stressful (and some do) I bring steadiness.
Above my desk hangs a small poster that reads, "What if it all works out?" I'm a natural overthinker, and that one question is my reset button — a small reminder to stay present, keep my head down and my chin up, and trust the process. It's the calm I want you to feel working with me.
If there's one thing people tell me without my ever asking, it's that I'm authentic. I don't know how to be anyone but myself. Honest, transparent, always learning, but always me. In an industry that a lot of people think is slick and transactional, I think that's worth something. It's carried me this far, and it's exactly what I'll bring to you if you choose to place your trust in me.
