People always ask real estate agents what sets them apart. My answer to that question is that I truly know what it means to show up every single day, regardless of whatever challenges life dealt me the day before.
Coming up as a student-athlete, I spent my college years playing competitive softball, serving as team captain for three years, and earning 1st Team All-League honors. These early experiences cemented my ability to stay composed under pressure, lead through adversity, and commit to a process even when results aren't immediate.
It goes without saying that these are skills I now lean on daily in real estate.
Truth be told, life has handed me its share of genuine hardship. I don't dwell on it, but I don't shy away from it either. Difficult experiences have only sharpened my sense of gratitude and deepened my appreciation for what's at stake when someone places trust in me.
A quote by the poet Edgar Albert Guest has stayed with me for years: "So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, it's when things seem worst you mustn't quit." These words encapsulate how I feel, how I live my life, and how I advocate for my clients.
Real estate is personal to me in another way, too: property management runs in my family, and I've been around the industry my whole life. I grew up on the Monterey Peninsula, swimming at Lovers Point, hiking through Jacks Peak, and spending time in Pacific Grove. So, I know these communities the way only a local can.
My special love is for first-time buyers. These are people who come in wondering if they can really afford a home here, how to navigate escrow, and if anyone will truly listen. My goal is simple: make them feel supported, well-informed, and genuinely at home.
When I'm not working, you'll find me training at The Camp Transformation Center in Seaside, at the beach with my dog, or with my family, the people who keep me grounded.
Consistency, I'll tell you, truly does create results.
