Not many agents do their first deals with buyers purchasing property worth $6.2MM.
But Adrian Martinez has never been average.
He credits his strong entrepreneurial drive to his parents, who used what little money they had to start a landscaping company on the Monterey Peninsula that today is one of the most recognized and respected in the area. The example of hard work and persistence they set for Adrian continues to inspire him to always do right by his clients, and he loves that real estate lets him make a lasting, positive impact on their lives.
Adrian doesn’t view real estate as primarily transactional, but relationship-based. Whether his clients are buying a $500,000 condo in Salinas or selling a $25MM luxury compound in Pebble Beach, they can expect to feel 100 % supported and flawlessly guided by someone who takes his fiduciary duty as gospel. He aims to build a legacy not as just “a Realtor on the Monterey Peninsula,” but as a respected member of his community – someone people can look to for inspiration, and who gives back in meaningful ways.
“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” Adrian says, quoting Theodore Roosevelt. This statement encapsulates Adrian’s entire business ethic, as he believes his most important credential is not his B.A. in Business Administration, his $6.2MM closing, or the fact that he’s a lifelong resident of the Monterey Peninsula, but his heart – the genuine care he shows the buyers and sellers who trust him to protect their most valuable assets as though they were his own.
Put simply, Adrian’s clients become family to him.
When he’s not following up with his clients, he’s often found running along 17-Mile Drive and admiring the golf courses he passes, including Spyglass Hill and Cypress Point. An outdoor enthusiast, he’s always up for a refreshing hike in Big Sur, after which he likes to wind down by taking in the views at Nepenthe. Lately, he has been working on his golf game, so he’ll be ready for any clients who want to see what he’s got!
